Chi-Go
By early 1945, Japanese engineers had developed their own Chi-Go project based on the German technical documentation for the PzKpfw V Panther with a range of simplifications and compromises in the construction. Later, Germany, whose industry was in a difficult state, became interested in the vehicle. A dismantled model was delivered by submarine for research and implementation of the simplified tank production technologies.
