Pike

The Pike heavy tank, designed for the British Army of the Rhine. It combined the chassis of the FV229 coastal defense tank and the turret of an unimplemented West German heavy tank with a powerful gun. It was initially created to fight the Soviet IS-3 heavy tank. Due to difficult interaction between British and German companies, the development was seriously delayed. As a result, the British Conqueror was fully adopted for service, and the Pike remained in draft form.
